ABOUT ME
Hello! I am a fine art photographer and KU engineering student based out of Lawrence, Kansas. Having grown up exploring the small towns, suburban sprawl, and vast open fields that make up much of Kansas, I became fascinated with cultivating a visual language that explores my experience of the American Midwest. For me it is a place suspended at a balance point along many continuums—somewhere between hope and abandonment, bizarre and mundane, familiar and foreign. In my work I often gravitate toward capturing scenes of urban decay, moments of simple beauty, and remnants of human activity. Although Kansas remains my primary focus, I have worked on projects across the globe as well. Thanks for your interest and I hope you enjoy the results!
